This poem was given to me 25 years ago when I was first diagnosed with Hodgkin's. It is on my bulletin board in my office at home. I want to share it with you now, especially since we are at the beginning of a new year, and even more because I feel like I'm moving in darkness now.
And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
"Give me a light, that I may tread safely into the unknown!"
And he replied:
"Go out into the darkness and
put your hand into the Hand
of God.
That shall be to you better than
light and safer than a known
way."
Finding God's Hand,
Sandra

Sandra, good last couple of entries! So well written even in the midst of grief and darkness. I know you were struggling with what to write, but you've once again shown grace and trust and faith. Although...it's okay to show the other side once in a while, too!! Anyway...thanks! Looking forward to tonight:).

May you feel your hand in His. Our prayers are with you , Sandra.
