For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
This is the verse we all are clinging to today. Sandra's nausea and vomiting have not changed with the switch of medications like we had hoped. Sandra will be in the hospital at least until November 22, when her course of antibiotics is finished. She is getting weaker because of the inability to keep food down.
Sandra is one of the most positive people I know. She is starting to feel discouraged, so for all of you who know her, that says a lot. Please pray for peace, comfort and relief from symptoms for her.

Dear Aunt Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI was very nice to see you again in BC. We all had a great time there and Jasmine was very happy to see many of her relatives. We are especially glad to see you; your cheerful smiles and your joyful songs made Jasmine, Kenneth and I smile. I am a little surprised, and very glad, to see all the courage and strength you have to battle with the infection. It must be a very stressful feeling to try to make consecutive "good days" in order to go home, but your positivity makes me believe that you will win over the infection and go back home. Keep staying positive! Don't let bad days disappoint or stress you to lose your spirit. We are all thinking about you and praying for you everyday. Keep us updated of your feeling and thoughts.
Lots of hugs and love,
Ai, Kenneth and Jasmine.
