Successful Procedure

This will be short. I just want to let you know that I got my power port today and it went very smoothly. I'm very tired and a bit woozy. The site is tender and sore but at least it's done. A few days to heal now - I'll just take it very easy. Thank you, God, for answered prayers.

In Him,
Sandra

  2. Dear Precious and loved child of God
I read the following this morning,
"Think of it...You belong to a God who has no limitations. His provisions are endless,
    His blessings are measureless,
    and His generosity is boundless.
All that is in His heart for you flows out in waves of love."

After pondering how easy to write something like that when life is easy, I thought of you immediately. I imagined you resting quietly in the lap of your Heavenly Father and totally understanding those words even as you live with the ups and downs of fighting cancer. Sandra, you have the gift of sharing a deep trust and faith as you experience God's always present love for you even when you walk through disappointments, pain, and challenges. Last night I was reading about the difference between knowing about God and knowing God intimately...you also came to mind then. Thank you for your strong testimony, Sandra. You come to mind so often; each time I imagine God's heart feeling your pains, and His angels hurting with you as they stay at your side through each unpleasant procedure . I admire your courage and tencity! Know, too, that God is using you to encourage, challenge, and strengthen me in my own faith journey. You are teaching me to have an 'attitude of gratitude' and to stop sweating meaningless 'small stuff'. Thank you, Sandra!!
Praying the port site will heal quickly and that you will rest well.
    Love Jan
